BACOWKI

Introducing our newest design

Bacowki are the traditional shepherds huts found in the Polish mountains.

Our Bacowki are designed and handcrafted by a 70 year old man living deep in these mountains.

The process of creating one pair, from lining the deep soles with thick layer of wool to hand decorating the leather pannel, takes him over 3 hours!

He first shapes the soles, adds wool and joins them to the main body. Then, he attaches fluffy sheepskin and leather panel to the front, even more fur around the slipper and finally hand decorates.

These are handcrafted and design imperfections will occur, but this only adds to the character and individuality of each pair and won’t have any impact on how long they last.
